Hi Robin, thanks for getting in touch, I do have a photo of the team which the landlord of the Kings Head gave me, unfortunately I cannot remember exactly where the track was but it was a short distance from where I lived which is opposite the Kings Head, I was over that way a few weeks back and did not recognise the field where the daft sport of cycle racing with no brakes took place but I will ask my brother he may know althoughit is some50 odd years or more since I last saw it, If you can find some of the named lads they could probably tell you in great detail all about it, all the best Jo

Jo,

Did you have any replies on this subject, please?

I have a rather dark copy of a photograph and a copy of a
programme from the Udimore cycle speedway if you would like them.

Is it still possible to see where the track was, please?

Best wishes,

Robin Richardson
